Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Career paths of military spouses are more non-linear than most. Whether it's Australia's outback, North American wilderness or UK countryside, the adventurer/survivor metaphor reflects military spouse careers. The equipment, knowledge and environmental conditions influence career direction and success. Military spouses boldy and bravely navigate their unchartered career territories, and their global experiences contain many lessons for others in the current climate.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Understanding the unique military spouse career experience
  • Identification of career skills and attributes of military spouses
  • Lessons for supporting other cohorts in changing world of work
